Another weekly wave of releases has landed on the Nintendo eShop, bringing a mixture of cozy adventures, indie discoveries, action brawlers, and a fresh round of Mario celebrations ahead of MAR10 Day. The lineup spans both Nintendo Switch and the newer Nintendo Switch 2 systems, with several titles launching simultaneously across the two platforms and a long list of smaller releases filling out the storefront. The update also includes new music tracks for Nintendo Music subscribers and a couple of notable pre-orders arriving for fans of RPGs and wrestling titles.
Among the headline releases this week is Pokémon Pokopia, a relaxed life-simulation style game where players take on the unusual role of a Ditto disguised as a human. Instead of battling through the traditional Pokémon formula, the focus shifts toward building and cultivating a peaceful environment where Pokémon can live together. Players gather materials, craft furniture, grow crops, cook meals, and design habitats for their Pokémon companions. Photography, multiplayer interactions, and world exploration add to the sense of a slow-paced creative sandbox. The game launches exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2 and leans heavily into the cozy-simulation genre that has been growing in popularity in recent years.
Indie fans also have several interesting projects arriving from titles featured in the Indie World Showcase. Blue Prince introduces players to Mt. Holly, a mysterious mansion where the layout changes daily. Every room hides puzzles, secrets, and branching paths, and each new day resets the structure of the house. The objective is to reach the enigmatic Room 46, but doing so requires carefully choosing which doors to open as the mansion constantly reshapes itself. On Switch 2, players can even navigate the environment using Joy-Con 2 mouse controls, offering a slightly different control experience than typical console exploration games.
Minishoot’ Adventures takes a very different direction, combining classic twin-stick shooter mechanics with the exploration structure of an old-school adventure game. Players pilot a small spacecraft through overworld environments, caves, temples, and submerged cities while battling waves of enemies and upgrading their ship. The game blends arcade-style action with dungeon progression and boss fights, giving it a nostalgic feel reminiscent of early console adventures. The title launches simultaneously on both Switch and Switch 2 systems.
Rotwood rounds out the week’s highlighted releases with a side-scrolling action brawler focused on cooperative play. Players fight through corrupted forests, battling strange creatures while mastering different weapon styles and character builds. Progression depends both on collecting gear and improving combat skill, especially during demanding boss encounters. The game supports solo play as well as multiplayer sessions for up to four players locally or online.
Nintendo is also preparing for its annual MAR10 Day celebration on March 10, a fan-driven holiday dedicated to Mario. Several Mario-related titles are being spotlighted, including Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2, which allow players to journey across imaginative planetary environments. Party fans can jump into Super Mario Party: Jamboree – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, featuring new control options and multiplayer minigames designed for group play. Meanwhile, Super Mario Bros. Wonder is expanding its content with additional characters, new attractions, and fresh boss challenges when the expanded version launches on March 26. For those feeling nostalgic, Nintendo Switch Online continues to provide access to classic entries such as Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Land, and Super Mario World.
Two notable pre-orders also opened this week. Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection continues the turn-based RPG spin-off series set in the Monster Hunter universe. The story centers on two kingdoms pushed toward conflict by an ominous monster connected to an environmental catastrophe. Players take on the role of a Rider who bonds with monsters while investigating the truth behind the looming war. The game launches March 13 on Nintendo Switch 2.
WWE 2K26 is also heading to Switch 2 on the same date, bringing the largest roster in franchise history with more than 400 playable wrestlers and legends. Expanded modes such as Universe and MyFACTION promise deeper customization and gameplay variety for wrestling fans. Players who pre-order the Standard Edition receive the Joe Hendry Pack as an additional bonus.
Nintendo Music subscribers also receive new tracks this week from Kirby Air Riders, including songs such as Starlit Journey (EN Version) and Floria Fields. These additions expand the library of Nintendo soundtracks available through the company’s music streaming service.
Beyond the headline releases, the eShop update includes a large number of smaller titles across both platforms. New Switch 2 additions include Back to the Dawn, Exit Lab ~15 Rooms~, Planet of Lana II: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, and The Fox’s Way Home – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. Meanwhile, the original Nintendo Switch receives a long list of new arrivals ranging from puzzle games and indie platformers to simulation titles and arcade experiences, including Firefighters Simulator 2026, The Last Ninja Collection + Bonus Games, Planet of Lana II, Sushi Cat – Tower Defense, Greedland, and many more.
As usual, Nintendo is also running weekly digital sales across the eShop storefront, with discounts available on a rotating catalog of titles. Players interested in browsing the latest deals can check the official Nintendo store listings for the full selection.
Altogether, this week’s Nintendo Download highlights a mix of cozy simulation games, experimental indie adventures, classic-style action titles, and nostalgic Mario celebrations. With MAR10 Day around the corner and several major releases arriving later in March, the Nintendo ecosystem is heading into a busy stretch of new content across both Switch generations.
